专利说明:
1 The technical field of the invention is that of devices for supporting a stretcher inside a medical vehicle. Medical vehicles may be equipped with stretcher carriers permanently installed. However, the stretcher carrying 5 devices can usually be removable or foldable to allow a further use of the passenger compartment of the vehicle, such as for the transport of slightly injured people in a sitting position. The patent application US2008/0023976 thus describes a 10 stretcher carrying device comprising two rails for receiving the feet of a stretcher. The rails are connected to two arms which are attached to a wall of the passenger compartment. Several articulations are provided in this device which allow in particular to move the rails closer to the wall to fold 15 away the device against the latter and thus to clear the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Other articulations of the arms wiht respect to the wall allow to horizontally move the rails in their deployed position. 20 This device still remains cumbersome and difficult to adapt to a vehicle passenger compartment equipped with seats with backrests and seat bases. The invention therefore aims to provide a compact device for supporting a stretcher which can be fitted inside a 25 vehicle already equipped with seats. The invention also relates to a medical vehicle that is equipped with such a device for supporting a stretcher and with folding seats. The invention is particularly well suited to the definition of military vehicles for carrying troops which may 30 also be used as medical vehicles. Thanks to the invention the inner passenger compartment of the vehicle is unobstructed by the stretcher carrier and it can still be easily transformed into a medical vehicle if necessary. 2 Thus, the invention relates to a device for supporting a stretcher designed to be arranged at a passenger compartment of a medical vehicle, the device comprising two rails for receiving the feet of a stretcher, the rails being integral 5 with two arms fixed to a wall of the passenger compartment and hinged with respect to the wall to allow the pivoting of the arms towards the wall of the passenger compartment with respect to an axis parallel to the rails, the device being characterized in that the rails are connected to each other 10 by at least two cross members each formed of two connecting rods hinged together and to the rails and thereby forming an articulated compass, the two compasses allowing to move the rails towards or away from each other. According to a particular embodiment, each compass 15 comprises a short connecting rod and a long connecting rod, the short connecting rod being hinged substantially at a middle portion of the long connecting rod, the long connecting rod having an end slidably mounted in a guide integral with one of the rails. 20 The long connecting rod may be immobilized with respect to its guide by means of a locking means. Furthermore, each arm may be hingedly connected to a clevis integral with the wall of the passenger compartment, the arm being securable to its clevis in the folded or 25 unfolded position by means a blocking means. The invention also relates to a medical vehicle with a passenger compartment within which at least one stretcher may be provided, the passenger compartment comprising at least two seats foldable with respect to a side wall of the 30 passenger compartment, the medical vehicle being characterized in that it comprises at least one device for supporting a stretcher which comprises two rails for receiving the feet of a stretcher, the rails being integral with two arms fixed to a wall of the passenger compartment 3 between the backrests of the seats and above the seat bases of the seats, the arms being hinged with respect to the wall to allow their pivoting towards the wall of the passenger compartment with respect to an axis parallel to the rails, 5 the rails being connected to each other by at least two cross members each formed of two connecting rods hinged together and to the rails and thereby forming an articulated compass, the two compasses allowing to move the rails towards or away from each other, the device being therefore able to move from 10 a folded position in which the rails are arranged at the rear of the seat backrests to an deployed position in which the rails are above a plane defined by the seat bases of the seats. Advantageously, in the deployed position of the support 15 device, the cross members may be supported on the seat bases of the seats. Each compass may comprise a short connecting rod and a long connecting rod, the short connecting rod being hinged substantially at a middle portion of the long connecting rod, 20 the long connecting rod having an end slidably mounted in a guide integral with one of the rails. The long connecting rod may be immobilized with respect to its guide by means of a locking means. Each arm may be hingedly connected to a clevis integral 25 with the wall of the passenger compartment, the arm being securable to its clevis in the folded or unfolded position by means of a blocking means. The invention will be better understood upon reading the following description of a particular embodiment, which 30 description is made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 partially shows the inside of the passenger compartment of a medical vehicle according to the 4 invention, the seats being shown lowered and the device for supporting a stretcher in the folded position, - Figure 2 is a view similar to the previous one wherein the device for supporting a stretcher is shown folded down over 5 the seat bases of the seats, - Figure 3 is a view similar to the previous ones and wherein the device for supporting a stretcher is shown in the deployed position, resting on the seat bases of the seats, - Figure 4a shows the support device receiving a stretcher, 10 - Figure 4b shows the device for supporting a stretcher in the folded position, the seats being equipped with their flexible backrests, - Figure 5 is an enlarged view of the device for supporting a stretcher showing the support of the cross members on the 15 seat bases of the seats, - Figure 6 is an enlarged view showing the connection of the long connecting rod and its guide, - Figures 7a and 7b schematically show in top view the assembly of the rails with their cross members, Figure 7a 20 showing the rails folded back and Figure 7b the rails spaced apart, - Figure 8 is an enlarged view showing the articulation of an arm on its clevis. 25 Referring to Figure 1, a vehicle according to the invention is a military vehicle which can be a vehicle for transporting troops or a medical vehicle (ambulance). This vehicle has a passenger compartment 1 within which at least one stretcher may be arranged (not shown). 30 In Figure 1 is shown a side portion of the passenger compartment 1 which is delimited by a wall 2. Folding seats 3 are fixed at a lower part 2a of said wall 2. Herein, four seats 3 are shown. Each seat includes a backrest 3a and a seat base 3b. The backrest 3a is connected 5 to the lower part 2a of the wall by conventional fastening means, for example screws. The seat base 3b is hinged with respect to the backrest 3a at horizontal pivots 4. It can therefore be folded back with respect to the side wall to 5 adopt a substantially vertical position. The seat base 3b then bears against the backrest 3a. The first three seats from the left in the figure are shown without their cushions or their flexible fabric backrest. The fourth seat has its seat cushion 5 and its 10 fabric backrest 6. The fabric backrests are removably suspended from the ceiling of the passenger compartment and can be unhooked and folded back to allow access to a storage space behind the seats. This seat architecture with a flexible backrest is 15 classic and it is not necessary to describe it in detail. Reference can be made to the patent EP2208635B1 which describes such a seat type with a flexible backrest. Figure 4b shows the seats all equipped with their backrests 6 and their seat base cushions 5. 20 According to an essential feature of the invention, the passenger compartment of the vehicle comprises at least one device 7 for supporting a stretcher which is foldable behind the seats 3. The device 7 comprises two rails 8a and 8b which are each 25 intended to receive the feet of a stretcher (not shown in the figures) . Each rail 8a, 8b is made from sheet metal and has the shape of a U gutter. The outer rail 8a will be referred to as the one furthest from the wall 2 in the deployed position and the inner rail 8b as the one closest to the wall 30 2. The rails 8a, 8b are connected to each other by two cross members 9 which are each formed by two connecting rods, hinged together and to the rails. 6 The structure of the cross members 9 is more visible in Figure 3 which shows the device 7 in its deployed position. It can be seen that each cross member 9 includes a long connecting rod 11 which is hinged to the outer rail 8a at a 5 first pivot 12. Each cross member 9 also includes a short connecting rod 10 which is hinged to the inner rail 8b at a second pivot 13. It can be seen from Figure 3 that the short connecting rod 10 is hinged substantially at a middle portion of the 10 long connecting rod 11 which carries, for this purpose, a third pivot 14. Finally, it can be noted that the long connecting rod 11 has its other end 15, which is slidably mounted in a guide 16, integral with the inner rail 8b. Figure 6 shows an 15 enlarged view of the guide 16 and the end 15 of the long connecting rod 11. It can be noted that the guide 16 has two slotted holes 17a and 17b which guide a rod 18 secured to the end 15 of the long connecting rod 11. The rod 18 has an enlarged head 19 which is integral with a pivoting lever 20. 20 The head 19 has a threaded internal profile which cooperates with a thread of the rod 18. The pivoting of the lever 20 thus allows to tighten the head 19 against the edges of the slotted hole 17a. The head 19 driven by the lever 20 is a locking means for immobilizing the long connecting rod 11 25 with respect to its guide 16. Each set of connecting rods 10 and 11 forms an articulated compass, the two compasses allowing to move the rails 8a and 8b towards or away from each other. Figures 7a and 7b schematically show in top view the 30 assembly of the inner 8b and outer 8a rails with the two cross members 9. Figure 7a shows the rails folded against one another (position corresponding to those in Figures 1 and 2). Figure 7b shows the rails spaced apart from one another (position of Figure 3). 7 It can be noted that the assembly provided by the invention allows a spacing of the rails 8a and 8b from one another without a longitudinal offset of one rail with respect to the other. Indeed, the axes of the first and 5 second pivots 12 and 13 remain aligned along a direction 21 perpendicular to the wall 2 of the passenger compartment, the direction 21 remaining the same in the folded position of Figure 7a and in the spaced apart position of Figure 7b. This is achieved because the length of the short 10 connecting rod 10 is equal to half of that of the long connecting rod 11, and the third pivot 14 is arranged in the middle of the long connecting rod 11. When the rod 18 of the long connecting rod 11 is guided inside the slotted hole 17a which is parallel to the wall 2 15 of the passenger compartment, the pivoting of the short connecting rod 10 around the second pivot 13 (fixed in translation) causes a movement of the first pivot 12 connecting the long connecting rod 11 to the outer rail 8a along the direction 21 which is perpendicular to the 20 direction 22 of the slotted hole 17a. As can be seen in Figure 1, the inner rail 8b is integral with two arms 23 which are fixed to the wall 2 of the passenger compartment between two backrests 3a of the seats. Figure 8 allows us to see more precisely the structure of 25 an arm 23. Each arm 23 is thus connected by a hinge 25 to a clevis 24 which is fixed to the wall 2 of the passenger compartment. The pivot axis 25 of the arms 23 is parallel to the rails 8a, 8b. A blocking means 26 is formed here by a cylindrical rod 30 with a threaded end 26a which passes through a hole 34 of a sheet metal fold 23a, welded onto the arm 23. The rod 26 is supported by a shoulder against the fold 23a of the arm 23 through which it passes by its threaded end. The threaded end 26a of the rod 26 is engaged in a thread 27 integral with the 8 clevis 24 at a plate 33 and allows to make the arm 23 integral with its clevis 24 in the deployed position (which is the one shown in Figure 8). During tightening, an abutment 32, integral with the arm 23, bears against the plate 33 (see 5 also Figure 1). The same blocking means 26 can be engaged in a threaded block 28, carried by the clevis 24 so as to make the arm integral with its clevis in the folded position (Figure 1). When the arm 23 is folded back (position not shown in 10 Figure 8 but visible in Figure 1), the fold 23a bears against the threaded block 28. The blocking means 26 is then inserted through the fold 23a, in the same hole 34 of the fold 23a, and the threaded end 26a screws into the threaded block 28 (the block is also visible in Figure 5). 15 The initial position of the device according to the invention is shown in Figure 4b and in Figure 1. The device 7 for supporting a stretcher is folded back and locked in this position. It is then behind the backrests 3a of the seats. The device is thus stored in the storage area behind the 20 backrests 3a of the seats. As can be seen in Figure 4b, it does not obstruct the passenger compartment 1 of the vehicle. The arm 23, arranged between the seats, does not hinder the use of the latter. Once the blocking means 26 are removed, the device 7 can 25 be deployed and brought into the position shown in Figure 2. As can be seen in this figure, the seat bases 3b of the seats are in their deployed position. The support device 7 is fixed to the lower part 2a of the wall 2 so that, in the deployed position, the rails 8a and 8b are above a plane 30 defined by the seat bases 3b of the various seats. In the deployed position of the support device 7, the cross members 9 are further supported on the seat bases 3b of the seats. 9 To this end, as can be seen in Figure 5, the long connecting rods 11 bear a bearing pad 29 which comes into contact with the seat base 3b of the seat 3. This bearing pad 29 is also visible in Figure 1. 5 Such an arrangement allows to provide a device with a relatively light structure, especially at the arms 23 and at their means of fixation to the wall 2. Indeed, the seat bases 3b of the seats contribute to the support of the device 7 for supporting a stretcher. 10 Alternatively, it would be possible, however, to define a device having rigidified arms 23 and means for fixing the reinforced arms. The fixation means and the arms being sized to allow a support of the stretcher without support on the seat bases of the seats. The seat bases could then be folded 15 back towards the backrests 3a before deploying the stretcher support. Implementing a support of the device on the seat bases 3b of the seats is yet preferred. After positioning the device 7 supported on the seat 20 bases, the rails 8a and 8b are spaced apart from one another (Figure 3) according to the above-described movement. The locking means (head 19 driven by the lever 20) are operated to immobilize the arms in the deployed position of Figure 3. The device may then receive a stretcher 30 whose feet 31 25 position in the guiding rails 8a and 8b (Figure 4a).
